Combination Switch Question

Hello, question about the combo switch. My car came with a rear wiper (so part FD04-66-120D)

If I installed a combo switch from a car without the rear wiper (FD04-66-120E) would it still work fine with the exception of losing rear wiper function? Or would this effect anything else?

Thanks!

most likely yes, also possible that you can swap your wiper switch. Mazda didn't sell stuff separate, but it is kind of modular

Inspect the harness connectors. They may have used the same connectors but with the rear wiper pins removed. Check the wiring manual. it likely shows the wiring for both versions.
