coloring pulleys?

Is there any way to color pulleys?

I've had the greddy kit sitting in my room for the last month or so, and I've realized I don't like the blue color. I really want soemthing red.

I had a set of blue SR pulleys stripped and re-anodized red. It was about $60 or so.

You can get them stripped and re-anodized at Air Capital Plating in Wichita, or perhaps Metal Finishing....there are several places in town that will.

Gold, blue, black, red, green, purple.....you name it.......

How do you strip them?

Are they all removable so that we can change their color? What about powdercoating?

interesting thread, please tell us how you did TTT.

thanks a lot

Here are both my water pump and alternator pulley. With my polished oil cap on top.

A neat little design.

It shows how good the polish is, even inside of the pulley, and you can clearly see that even after the polish, the grooves are the pulley are still present.

contact me if you wish to have this done to yours as well.
