Clutch switch in auto trans? idle fix?

Hi, I would like to know if the clutch switch replacement method for fixing idle problems (stalling when a/c on, rpm drops when heavy electrical load) can be applied to auto trans or not. If so, what and where is the part for check and replace? Your help is very much appreciated.

My FD is 1993, auto, all stock

To my knowledge the clutch switch has nothing to do with the E/L unit at all, its only purpose is when to tell the car its in gear or not. which couldent affect the idle.

but best of luck to you on your problem

don't you need a clutch for the clutch switch? maybe the idle is not being increased when the ac is turned on due to a e/l unit prob or iac. fd3boost said his similar prob was due to a fast idle cam set incorrectly
