Clutch Stop

Hey, I was wondering if a clutch stop would be bad for the clutch, ie having a simular result of riding the clutch 24/7... in case anyone doesn't know what that is, it is reducing the "dead section" (what's this called) before the clutch engages...

I know this is old, but I'm wondering the same things...

My clutch (act clutch, dont know which), has a big dead section that I'd like to eliminate...
