clutch compatibility
Ok, here's the deal.
I have a 20b with a 2nd gen transmission coupled to it.
Can I use that clutch when I hookup my 3rd gen transmission?
Is there a spline difference? Shaft diameter difference?

The clutch alignment tool I just purchased and used on my FD shows to be a 1”x 23 spline. I got it from O’Reilly Auto for $2.39; Dorman #14503. Maybe this will help verify if the 2nd gen is the same size.

2nd gen has the same spline as 3rd gen. Of course the 3rd gen is a pull type pressure plate while the 2nd gen is push type. ACT has whichever clutch you need to tame the beast of the 3 rotor (shameless plug).
