clutch adjustment

i just had a clutch put in my 93 and i was wondering if i can adjust the friction point. it releases right away but to put it back in gear the friction point it pretty close to the top of the pedal. i read on several threads that you just have to rotate the bar coming off of the pedal but i don't want to touch it until i know exactly what i'm doing.

CLick on the link for clutch pedal. It's page H-6 in the service manual.

It's a pretty easy adjustment, literally dialling a nut one way or another until the engage point is where you want it.

Careful with a brand new clutch though, you may not be able to adjust enough to your liking and you may just have to live with it until the clutch softens up with use.
