Cluster Gauge not working after build
I just got done doing a single build and finally started the car up after 2 1/2 years. before the build everything worked just fine and now nothing. When the car gets turn on to the ACC milage lights up just fine and all seems well. the next step turning the car over is the problem, my oil spikes, Hot/Cold gauge does not work, nor my revs or speed. the fuel gauge seems to hover just above or below half even after a fill. Now the fuse box under the hood was relocated and I have an Apexi FC. would one or both of those items have anything to do with the cluster or should I start somewhere else? this is on a 1993 Rx7 FD

there's no need to post in the New Member forum. you can post questions directly to the Gen III forum now. i am moving it there.
anyway, see if this helps you any: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...sue-fd-958130/
also, for the fuel level gauge, since the car sat for 2.5 years, it may just be a stuck (or sticking) float. i know they're somewhat different creatures, but sometimes after storage the gas gauges in my FB and MR2 Turbo would do weird things for a while. for me, they always worked themselves out after 3 or 4 fill-ups, but it's worth a look.

The plug is WAY up in the dash, behind the blower motor case. You are gonna have to get your head up in there with a flashlight and look.

you sir are correct. Remove cubby with 2 phillips screw, then the metal support with 2 phillip screws then use 10mm deep socket and on top and on bottom of blower motor there is a nut. Remove them and then it drops down a bit and there is the connector. at most times the plug will be laughing at you in the face!
