Checked out car for sale today, any heads up?
94 touring, 62k miles
-started up roughly, been sitting for like a year with starts here and there, smoked grey (WAS FUEL NOT COOLANT/OIL) and missed some, this got better as it warmed up but not great with a little PUT PUT here and there as it ran, when it was fully warmed up i floored the gas and it just bogs, and exhaust goes PUT PUT like it's missing/drounded with fuel, no check engine light, removed air box it's not obstructed, reassembled same deal
-clutch doesn't engage at all, pedal play is normal, gear to gear and attempting to engage the clutch nothing happens
oil/coolant were full and so was the brake fluid resovoir
thanks

If it's sat for that long, you could have crap gas in the tank. There's a drain bolt at the bottom of the tank - you can drain out the old gas and fill it with new gas.
On the clutch - could be the clutch is TOTALLY worn out (might have been why it's sitting) or something's way wrong with the clutch hydraulics.
I'd take this all into account on the deal. If the car is in decent shape, straight body, good interior, etc. I'd get a compression test done on the engine and make sure the engine is good. If you're willing to put some TLC and some work into it, might be a cool project. But, I wouldn't pay top dollar for it!

awesome deal....I'd buy that in a second. My car sat for years before I bought it too. I checked the oil and it was as thick as dirt. It ran like crap obvioulsy. Full tune up and it ran like a top. Maybe you'll be that lucky too and at a really really low price

No, you shouldn't get it at all. ummm..... Where's it at btw? I'm just curious. Seriously though, that does sound like a good price. I wouldn't mind buying one like that for a project car.
