As much mileage that diagram gets, how come it hasn't been stickied yet?

BTW, DaleClark sells viton check valves.

Does anyone have a diagram to show the nonsequential setup using this chart or something similar. Kind of a before and after thing if you will. I would really like to see it and cant really seem to locate it in a search. Has anyone modified something to show the changes? It would really help!

WOW! thanks! that exactly what i needed. The only question left is the resistors. Why do you need them and if you leave the rack there do you still have to do this? If someone has a detail on this id appreciate it. I think im about ready to try this now after doing so much searching and reading and asking. thanks for all you guys help!

also if the vacuum line that is supposed to go to solenoid G is not hooked up, would that cause for very low boost on the primary turbo.

Solenoid G is the first solenoid (the one in the front) on the bottom row. It controls the Double Throttle.

"Double Throttle Control

* This keeps a second set of Secondary throttle plates in the throttle body closed. If the Double Throttle control is not working properly, (i.e. secondary always closed) then maximum boost will be restricted to ~5 psi."

You'll probably have to remove the pressure chamber to see it. Honestly, if you are checking your lines, you really should be removing the UIM (Upper Intake Manifold) to verify all the lines.

burnout king you need the resistors to trick the ecu into thinking the solenoids are still there so it doesn't throw a code. If you leave the solenoids installed and plugged in, you don't need resistors. Also if you have a Power FC, it doesn't care if you have resistors or not.

Rex7-93, the solenoids are under the upper intake manifold. You will have to remove it to access them. mahjik gave you a good description of where to look from there.

Heres a pic I took while I was doing the vacuum hoses on my car last week, You can only see the nipple...or whats left of it...because I broke it trying to remove the hose on it, otherwise everything should be connected. Be careful its extremly easy to break things in this area of the car!

The double throttle is still on my throttle body, and I left the butterflies in as well, just cap off all the hoses if you don't mind it. Also I'd recommend getting some small zip ties and use them on any hose you replace, do the job right you can see I have some poorly cut hose on the vacuum chamber, thats one of the things I had to go back and replace.

Find the boost leak. Start at the coupler between the turbo y-pipe and crossover pipe and work your way toward the intercooler and then the intake elbow. TAKE OFF each coupler, turn it inside out, stretch it, and find which one has the leak.

i found that one of the lines from the double throttle was in the wrong place so i fixed that and checked every other line but STILL not boosting over 5 psi. i never had a boost leak before this so i dont think it could be one now. the car seems to run a little bteer but it is bothering me that it is boosting so low. any other suggestions

Did the boost have a problem immediately after working in the rats nest? Or are you in the rats nest because you have low boost?

If it's the first, keep looking for and finding incorrect vacuum lines.

If it's the second, start looking for boost leaks.

the day that i changed the check valves is when the boost problem happened. on the way to my friends house it was running normal boost pressures, he had just completed an engine swap in his civic so we went out to race. the first race i had low boost, then it was boosting normal then after that is boosted 5psi from then on. when i went to change the check valves, i found cracked lines and check valves that were;nt flowing, and now im in this situation. my couplers from the y-pipe are not more than 3 months old and are mutli layer silicone from extreme motorsports, so i dont think it can be a boost leak.
