does anyone have a digital camera and knows the location of this check valve... I can never find things under my hood... ... mine is a BB 95..

Wow such a clean looking bay... i thought it was that hose... I took it off and pressure tested it from both ends... its only lets air in... so where else is this whoosing comming from?

Or just get one from a Honduh.... that uses clamps over line/nipple style connections if you want to replace the line... Or any other check valve that would fit there. chaeck valves are check valves are check valves, as long as they are rated to the duty to which they will be put under.

If you don't have it, two things will occur:
1. You'll get an irritating fuel smell, and will spend hours checking injector seals, lines, and charcoal canisters looking for it with no success.
2. When you get on the throttle, it will literally suck boost right back out of the brake booster. The effect being that you'll nail it, then when you let off and need to slow down, you'll have very little brakes for a moment until the booster refills.
Ask me how I know.

I checked and effectively, the previous owner changed the hose, but did not reinstall the check valve.
I'm about to fix that.
I just would like to understand why this leads to strong fuel smell??
