That's what you get when you take the easy way out and "engineer" a Harwood fiberglass hood scoop into the middle of an RX-7 hood.

It does say it's a "universal" fit model, though.

That is without a doubt, the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Seeing that makes me determined to never buy anything from SP .. not that I would have anyway.

I have a couple friends that work over at SP and they say that the HP #'s are correct......but like Jimlab....I'll wait to see if for myself.

Another funny thing with this car is people are saying that it has already run mid 9's and will debut at the Texas race coming up. I'm very curious to see if that is true.....that much power through the 7's factory independent rear??? Let's just say that it ain't happening! Plus the torque will tweak the unibody out of place.....I've looked under it and never saw any reinforcements or anything. It could do it with the right mods.....but that's alot of mods!

Anybody got a better pic of those wheels. I'm interested to see what they are. Look pretty nice from that angle.

The car's not bad looking.. the hood it could do without, but knowing it has a supra engine just makes it better..

I'll also believe any numbers concerning the car when I see dyno sheets or a video. Alex hasn't shown himself to be the most honest individual, in my opinion.

I may have put a Chevrolet engine in my car, but it was extremely well planned out and no subsystems of the car were compromised or altered, nor was the weight balance, and I didn't have to commit a war crime on my hood.
Here you go jim. 865rwhp no nos and with only 6-8 miles on the engine. Id say 900-1000 should come easy. They only used 2 bar Id dont think they really care about steering geometry. Doesnt really look like they built it to run an auto cross.

It wouldnt look so bad if they put a reverse scoop right before the engine and left it open till it matched with the lines of the car.. That is if the motor ever goes below the lines of the car.. Only prob wit that is those damn turbos.. I would say wit what they had that they prob did the best they could.. To me it dosent look all that bad.. But i wouldnt drive it..

Just realized how bad the fit is on that hood... LOL.. Look how big the gap is on the drivers side.
