Cheap weld-on exhaust tips?

Hey guys -

I have in my garage an OLD Turbo Tuff cat-back. Actually a REALLY nice system, very similar to the PFS cat-back, polished oval can style, has a GREAT sound to it.

Downside is it has the world's biggest and goofiest exhaust tip - it's like a 5-inch rolled tip, actually touches the black plastic under the bumper.

So, I'm thinking about finding a good weld-on tip with 3" inlet, cutting the old tip off and welding a new one on. Anyone know a good source for decent looking inexpensive tips?

Dale

I have also considered replacing the tip on my Greddy SP catback. It sounds great, but man that tip is goofy looking.

Hehe, I'm actually about to put my SP back on. This makes the SP tip look TINY. It's 5" round, no kiddin'.

I have a greddy sp, love the sound looks good but for some reason looking at it from different angles (like from the passenger side angeled view) it look funky.
Im looking for something same size, length but more oval.

No he means his turbotuff muffler has a weird tip.

Thats the newer one I think because mine doesn't look like that and 3 people I know who have the same one don't look like that.

I have no idea what tip it is, though it looks similar to the 1st one on the sebringtuning link in post 12.
The catback is from the exhaust manufacturer that made them for PFS. I loaned them my car for a few hours to adjust/test their jigs & they gave me a catback. The SS catbacks were going for $700 back then, so I couldn't really complain about the cannon-sized tip. (Anyone know if PFS ever advertised their catback with a 5" tip?)

I'll try & get some more pics
