Exclamation Charge Control Actuator issue...

My fd has been acting up lately and it doesnt do it every time. In mostly 2nd and 3rd gear at WOT I hear/feel surging at high RPM's. When this happens, boost drops to 0. I did a lot of reading and I think I narrowed it down to the CCA (Charge Control Actuator) I found a test to perform on Autosportracetech.com

A simple test for the Charge Control Actuator is to start the engine and let it idle, the actuator rod will be pulled in. Stop the engine and remove the hose from Chamber A and the actuator rod will be out.

When I performed this test, as soon as I turned off the car, the rod was already out as if the car were turned off. So there has to be a leak somewhere right? I just dont know where to start with this?

Keep in mind, that I dont lose boost all the time. Is something sticking or a leak?

First thing to look at is your check valves. They can be a source of intermittent problems. Chamber A is where you hook up the line that ultimately goes back to your charge control solenoid.
