Changed the fuel filter today, check this out.

So i changed my fuel filter today because i have no idea the last time its been changed and once i got the damn thing out curiosity got the better of me and i cut the filter open to see what was going on in there, and let this be a lesson to everyone. If you dont remember the last time you changed it or thinking about putting it off DONT!

why yes that just so happens to be a shocker sticker, and no i wasn't having any delivery problems, but i was noticing my fuel pump staying on for longer when I cut the key to the ON position. Now everything is back to normal.

Yep they look like toilet paper inside. I cut one apart years ago. That is why I recommend changing them every 15k miles minimum.

Ihor and I relocate every FD filter that we change to the rear subframe, tucked up behind the fuel tank. Makes it a 5 minute affair to change the filter. We've been doing it for many years, since the Gotham days

Where do you guys buy your filters from, the dealership. My dealership said the filter was like 70 bucks and they had to order it.

I think there is one on my myspace page. Otherwise I'm about to do one for a customer so I will post some. We used to clamp the filter to the subframe but I am now re-tapping the stock bracket and using an existing stud on the fuel tank cover to mount it on. It should be less than $70.

I did mine a while back, it was the color of "mars" inside. there was grass in there too. I should check my new one to see if it could use a mowing.

Ok I just purchased a Canton filter and was orginally thinking I would have to mount it in the engine bay (heat, uhg!) by mounting by the fuel pump resistor. Think I will now mount on the subframe.

I've ditched the stock fuel filter, and just relocated this to the engine bay.
