Champagne Bubbles of Death GONE....holding pressure now !! ?

Alright, previously I had been trying to figure out why my coolant would not settle at the top of the filler neck after shut down like it has done so for years. For the past few months after fixing a heater hose leak there would always be about a cup of coolant pushed into the overflow tank but after that my coolant would stay at that level...my guess...air pocket. Also noticed the "Champagne Bubbles of Death" upon cold start up in the filler neck. So, I did a pressure test and found a fast trickle of coolant under pressure from my lower radiator tank. Fixed all the leaks and did pressure test again and left it on over night. Pressure test the next day showed a loss of a couple of psi's and still saw the Dom Perignon bubbles. Continued to Pressure test and actually left the Pressure tester on for nearly 24 hrs. straight !! After that period I popped my spark plugs out and Turned the motor over by Hand and Totally dry...no sign of coolant. While turning over the motor and sticking my finger in the Spark plug gaps I could literally feel and Hear air being pushed out every other turn....dunno what that means. Anyway, I continued to turn the engine over until the sound and pressure was no longer present. SO, I go to top off the coolant again and Pressure test Again. This time.....Pumped it up to 19 psi and left it on over night and for a good part of the day and pressure Stayed at 19 psi!! Opened up the filler neck upon Cold start up and Champagne Bubbles COMPLETELY gone !! Have checked twice now for Champagne Bubbles and there are absolutely NONE now. NOW, this is where I stand. No bubbles and pressure holding...BUT pressure tested while idling car from cold start and after about 10 minutes pressure builds to about 15-16 psi on the pressure guage. My question is....is this normal. Wouldn't the pressure on the guage build to that psi. since there is no bleed off like a normal AST cap ?? Also...more iimportantly I had tested the pressure at Idle previously when I saw the bubbles in the filler neck and the pressure at Idle would climb to 17-18 psi. immediately from a cold start. NOW, at least it takes a good 10 minutes until after the T-stat opens and coolant flows for it to reach those high #'s. I'm thinking that's normal bec. again on a pressure tester unlike an AST cap there is no bleed off of pressure at all. Also, my overflow tank seems to still want to fill up and doesn't appear that coolant is Sucked back into the system. I've only checked once however Is it possible for coolant to be pushed into the overflow tank but NOT sucked back as Easily because of A bad hose that connects the two ??? What do you guys think....besides this is one Long *** post with Overload of Info...haha !! Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.
