Center Mounted Exhaust on An FD?
hah, I see the kool aid guy too. sorry for going off topic, but I hate those wide bodys that are boxxy or the ones that leave the rear bumber with just some side skirt type things... they need to flow like the chargespeed...god I love that kit.
I would love to see an RX-8 style dual exhuast on an FD (with the proper aero compliments) or something along the lines of the Ferrari 355 exhaust. But for the Ab flug exhaust....
I would guess that falls in the "custom" fabcrication department. Ooooh Yeah!!!

you'll probably have to cut/modify the spare wheel section (not allowed in some countries) and if you don't, exhaust piping will be very near the fuel tank.
If you route it behind the rear bumper there will be little room and the piping setup will reduce exhaust gast efficiency due to multiple bends and turns

Why not just bolt on 6 exhaust pipes in a row and get it over with? 2 in the center is for wussies. I'm not thinking kool-aid guy but more along the lines of 'more than meets the eye'.

It was a custom setup done for the Abflug car many years ago (probably around 2000-2001). That car also had a fuel cell. There used to be a ton of pictures around for that car, but the only ones which have stayed over the years are just the rear shots (of the exhaust).
Guys, you have to realize that this kit is probably 8-9 years old. That was the look back then. At one point, the old F&F Veilside kit was hot and even your very own Steve Kan was one of the first in the US to rock that full kit.
