CCV valve questions
okay, i noticed that the CCV valve has two hoses that are to be coming off of it. the first is the one more on the left, that connects to the exhaust manifold. the second is the one to the right which goes to the back of the intake manifold. well the second was not hooked up to the intake manifold at all. i found it just unplugged and stuffed down behind the CCV. well, when i hooked it up and test drove it, NO POWER what so ever. when i disconnected it i got power. did i do something wrong. i would think that the chart says to have those connected but when i do, no power. anyone have any insight??? im at a total loss now.

You need to be more specific. The charge control valve only has one hose coming off of it. And no hoses go to the exhaust manifold. Look over a good vacuum diagram and get back to us.

Sorry I forgot about the short hose to the charge control. Do you have a boost gauge? If so, "T" into the hose coming from the Intake manifold(not exhaust maniflod) to the charge control. There should be vacuum until 4,500 rpm and then boost until you let off the gas enough to get it out of sequential mode. If you don't have a boost gauge then just get a cheap one from an auto parts store.

well i shoudl have had a boost gauge by now. the rx7store is truely lagging. i may be cancelling my order if they do not show up today. i will then swtich from the koyo to the fluidyne just for ease of installation.
