Cat Back Question

Hello I Have A 93 Fd And It Has An Pf Exhaust On It And When It Is At Idle The Car Is Popping A Little. Is This Because I Have A Catback Or Is There Somehting Else I Should Look Into....

Perfectly normal. Just about everyone w/ an aftermarket exhausts gets "popping" (and even backfiring!) sometimes.

FDs run rich @ startup. If this "reputable mazda service shop" didn't know that, I'd stop bringing the car there.

I have DP, MP, & CB and it 'pops' when the engine is still cold, but when it is warmed up it idles smooth as buttah.
