CAS to ECu wiring question

I am looking to rewire my CAS to ECU for this season ,
from experience, are the 4 wires ( 2 are .. the same wire ) individually shielded ? or the whole bundle ... is the shielding intended to keep noise In .. or Out of the bunch ..or individual wires ...

what appropriate wiring can i use to rewire from ECU pin to CAS connector
also preferably available online

also anyone that has done any kind of aftermarket CAS rewiring on any car with any input would also be much apreciated

thx

Not from experience, but from page Z-34 of the 1994 FWM, this diagram shows the OEM wiring. (Actually the wires are shielded two-conductor wire.) Each shield encloses one pair of CAS signals. The shields are grounded, and generally that is to prevent noise on the signal wires.

^^ Agreed. Each sensor has two wires, each group of two wires is surrounded by a shield. The shield is there to prevent noise from interfering with the CAS signals. These signals help the ECU determine engine position, among other problems an error in the CAS signals could result in incorrect ignition timing.
