Carpet? Aftermarket sources??

I'm having trouble tracking down a source for aftermarket carpet for a 93'. Two of my vendors said no problem until I tried to order it, then they only have up to 92'.

Anyone know of a place with molded aftermarket carpet for a 3rd gen?

none do a search, it has been asked about a 100 times. unfortunately, no1 wants to make carpet for our precious FDs and Mazda discontinued the part.

if you happen to find some1 please let me know. I am going to redo my leather and would like to change the color to charcoal leather, but wanna do the carpet & mats in black. I don't like playing with used for this type of thing and damn sure don't wanna die the carpet I have; especially since people sell the used carpet like it is woven out of gold threads and is usually in worse shape than the carpets I have. So I am probably gonna stick to the stock beige. not that this has anything to do with your question, just needed to rant.

I know that mazda charges an arm and a leg for the carpets, but it's worth it.

I'm sure any shop that makes carpets can do it.
I may get mine also fabbed as they're in a pretty bad shape.

I am pretty sure it has been discontinued. Do you know of a place that still has some. I would be interested. Money is no object.

Most good upholstery shops can peice together a nice carpet for your fd. You can choose any material you want.

Mazda hasnt discontinued the part I asked about it a week ago and it is 900 bucks for the carpet so you can still get it but it is an arm a leg and foot. Thats what you gotta give them for it. You can find it or just wait for someone to wreck there car and part it out and then you have carpet. Custom carpet can be made just go to an upholstery shop and they can help you out.
