its going to be painted so the tight weave doesnt matter that much. VIS is good or not so much? I like this design best except for the Spec R(yeah right) so i was trying to find one.

Also, does ANYONE know where to find a V-Mount kit or is every single one off the market right now? HKS is not available overseas(here) and Rotary Extreme I cant get ahold of...

IIRC correctly, most people have been happy with their VIS CF hoods. I would recommend buying from VIS directly to avoid any mishaps with shady ebay sellers.

A few months back I saw the same deal and I questioned the authenticity of the hood. I called ViS to confirm and they told me that indeed it is not a ViS hood and people have complained to ViS about the hit and miss fitment of the hoods that this seller provides. Since it's not a Vis Hood they can't help the buyers in anyway. They also told me that they are looking into legal ways to stop this individual. I guess they havent been succesful.

Don't believe just call Vis. The number is listed on their website.

My Vis hood, Scoot kock off has been back ordered for 4 months. The point is if you don't own a honda real CF hoods are hard to get a hold of these days.

 

Apparently, the copies also have the ViS plaque so I don't know how one can tell the difference. I found out is by calling ViS since they know who sells stuff for them.

 

dont buy tha that hood, it will look goofy on your car
