Carbon buildup

can carbon buildup cause low compression when doing a comp test? also other then regular redlines is there another way of cleaning out the caron buildup? (atf trick?)

use 4 oz of MMO or Pettit protec R to each tank of gas. this will help with carbon build up.

If anything, carbon buildup will increase your compression if it makes the combustion "chamber" smaller. Unless it affects the seal on the housings.

CA gas is so crappy it uses more detergents than hydrocarbons though, so carbon buildup is much less likely.

Carbon can cause rotor seals to stick in there groves and that will cause low compression. You may be able to free a stuck seal with high detergent addtives like the ones mentioned but don't count on it.

it's alot of fun to do as well

Running two stroke oil helps in the long term scheme of things.
