Car wont start -- When It did it wasnt pretty.

Ok. Here goes..

My car is right now at Guchs Motorsports in Columbus, GA. He did a good job with the car getting everything back together and then it cranked. When he tried to rev it (light throttle) it stumbled and fell flat on its face. I think the plugs are fouled also. Ill replace those today and see if she cranks again. What could cause it to run so crappy when you touch the accelerator?

I am running:

Street ported motor
3' Downpipe
3' Midpipe
3.75' Catback
Greddy Pulleys
Pettit Cold Air Intake
Full Non-Seq Twins
Removed OMP, AWS, EGR, etc etc..
Apexi Power FC Standalone with Commander
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
850cc injectors x 4

Is it running to lean? Should I go through the PIM and richen it up a bit after I install the new plugs etc? I have about 6 gallons of gas and a good bit of premix thats why i htink it fouled them. Im just going to add more gas to offset the premix.

Any suggestions? Ill be heading out there around 1 central tiome because I, like everyone else, want my car done. Please..

Josh

my first thoughts are may be a problem with removing the OMP

Next I see you have 4 850s and now I'm pretty sure you have a leaking injector or you have it setup wrong somehow with the pfc. I don't understand why you got 850 all around that's not the best setup imo. You should have just gotten bigger secondaries and left the 550s until you go single turbo that would be enough.

You're intake sensor connector is black, has blue tape on it and it only reaches right to that spot on the uim. You could have the fuel temp sensor and coolant temp sensor backwards since they are both green connectors but the car still runs fine like that just a little rich.

So should I just take the injectors out and then reseat them? How about, or what is the right way to seat them?

doesn't the shop know how to do that?

even the slightest crack in one of the O rings will cause the car not to run. I had the same problem with a secondary once and when I went over 3500 the car died and shot flames. The split in the o ring was pathetic too.

I'm not sure how the mod works to get the 850s to fit into the 550 spot. Do you still have the 550s? I would use the injector tool and take out all 4 and put back 550 primary and 850 secondary after replacing all of the o rings on them and put them back in the motor carefully.

Sorry I don't know much more

Q:What could cause it to run so crappy?

A:Guchs Motorsports!

Next time take it to a true rotary expert. Sure, you'll
pay more, you'll have a longer drive, but you'll also have a bitchin' ride.

Sorry to be so harsh, but there are only a handful of guys in this country that know what they are doing when it comes to rotaries..

If you step on the gas and it bogs out I would say its way too stinky rich IMO. Has your PFC been tuned ?
