Car won't start

I did a Non-seq conversion and added a PFC. But my car isn't starting. Doesn't sound like the fuel pump is working but I can't tell forsure.
I tried steping on the accel pedal while starting the car and I heard a buzzing/clicking noise from my engine bay. I then tried to listen and find where it was coming from while pulling the throttle cable a bit. Its coming from under my UIM in the area of the FPR and FPD. But I don't know for sure what it is, sounds like and electric switch clicking really fast. Anyone have an Idea of what it could be? Anyone heard a similar noise before from that area?

rx7 may be on the right track. It sounds like your wire is arking to the uim or something. Make sure your wires are in good shape and totally cover the coils frontal connector surface (ya i made that up

easy way for the fuel pump test. put a long funnel in the gas filler cap. turn the car to on and run back to the funnel and listen for a humming noise. it will only prime for a few seconds so have someone crank the car for you to kepp it running or just be very fast. you can listen to any fuel inj car that is running to get an idea of what you should be hearing. the plug wires will only make the poping noise of shorting when the car is running/cranking. the noise is prob the iac valve stepper motor

i had that noise also when my car wouldnt start. check all grounds, coils, wires and change your spark plugs. the problem for me were the spark plugs and grounds. after that the buzzing went away, and the car started

Fuel pump test is done in the diagnostic connector under the hood. Use a piece of wire and touch the terminal F/P to GND. You will hear the pump kick on and fuel bypassing under the hood.

Ok...I can hear the fuel pump by doing the FP/gnd check and it works. I check the plug for spark....It has spark. Now I need to find out if the injectors are getting gas. Still won't start and the overheat light is still on the PFC.

check the sensor status on the pfc. it lights the exht overheat light if it sees a fault. also this is the first time you have tried to start it after adding the pfc? are you sure the settings are correct? what about the harness mod that it needs?

did all the wire clipping. I've resently determined that my primary injectors aren't firing because the fuel rail has fuel. Also found out that Jdhuegel1 (i think I spelt that right) is/was having the exact same problem as me. I'm waiting for a response from him.

his injectors were bad. the pintle would not open. you could test by pulling the fuel block and seeing if they are spraying fuel... kind of messy and a pain. or you could hook up a pressure gague build up some fuel press. pinch the feed line before the pressure gague and pinch the return line. try and start the car and see if the pressure drops. have you pulled the plugs to see if they are wet?
