Car Wont Start
ok i have had a ton of problems lately, not really a suprise, but here is the newest development, the other night i was testin if i could get my full boost so i do a 4th gear pull on a long long country road, i got my full boost 17 psi and it sat there, i was happy. so i heard sumthin like a quiet popping, not very loud and it was runnin fine so i let off and coast down till i get down to a safe speed, then as i approach a stoplight the car stutters and dies under normal driving situation.. i pull over and attempt to start it and it turns over but wont start.
i have done this to try to get it to start, i checked all teh plugs they all get spark
the fuel pump IS delivering fuel
the starter works, the engine turns,
all vaccum tubes and sensor plugs are plugged in propperly,
everything seems to be right
so i tried to start it again ,....same thing
so i took out the big guns, tractor starter, yup ether sprayed the air filter, tried starting
nothing, spraed it down into the lower intake manifold, nothing,
so i have spark, or i think i do, the plugs spark and it wont start,
i need help

the popping seemed like a misfire i should have more than enough fuel, it wasnt loud but it was at high boost, i could barely hear it, i have no muffler and a downpipe so my exhaust is VERY loud, i was thinkin it was flames out my exhaust which is a usual thing at high boost

flooded? well if you got fuel and spark, what your missing is compression to complete the cycle. How are you checking for fuel and spark anyways?
what a/f ratio are you running btw?

its not flooded, cause i didt he unflooding procedures, im doin a compression test today, but im sure thats fine i mean it should at least turn over wit shitty compression. i tested spart by simply takin out the spark plugs pluggin um in and lookin at um spark. what i dont get is how that tractor starter didnt get teh fella to at least try to start i mean its ether for god sakes

so how did you plug them in and check for spark? you should have gotten a wire and put one end to ground and wrapped the other end around the spark plug and had someone crank her up. BTW: you checking all 4 sparkplugs/wire right???
also, how are you testing for fuel? you should have pulled the fuel line closes to the front of the car near the oilfilter and jump the fuel pump to see if fuel is shooting out. just jumping the fuel pump and hearing it whorl around is not good enuf, you gotta make sure fuel is actually getting to your injectors. perhaps its your injectors? compression test is a good idea, how are you doing this btw, are you towing her to a dealer? personnaly i would try a regular compression testor first, much cheaper and damn near free if you already have one
do you still have the stock ecu??? perhpas you should try to plug that in and see if it will start with that.
Oh yeah, check to see if all the relays and fuses are good.
good luck man
keep at it, youll get her back up and running

I hope your compression test are postive. My buddy just called me today.. reporting that he did infact blow his motor when he gunned it on the highway to get past traffic and it died and then wouldnt start.
We thought it was flooded too. Test results shown blown apex seal on the rear rotor.
