I was running 275/35/18's(Kumho Ecsta MX) on my last set of wheels....when they got to about 4 years of age they stopped hooking even in third(400whp) ....with my new setup running 235/40/18's(Nitto 555) im getting some usable traction in 2nd again..haha....not much though...but third is good!...

a lot of high hp FD hooking problems are suspension tuning issues.. Micky Thompson makes a drag radial in 17 inch as well.
