car stolen last night
My car was stolen last night from Yonkers, NY on route 100. It was a Red '93 FD with custom 18" Racing Hart C5's and Rotary Performance Cat Back, black interior. No wing and no sunroof. The vin is JM1FD3315P0209586. New York License plate BX178E.
If anyone sees it please let me know.
This really sucks.
You think they are parting it out or will sell it whole?

car stolen
**** man.........that really, really sucks.....
I'd like to tell you there's hope, but as rare as FDs are getting these days.......
I wish someone could develope a lethal mean of protecting your car, like steel spikes that shoot up thru the seat or something....but damn, you'd want to make sure it was fool proof!
I seriously hope you get your car back. Man, **** like this makes me want to get that satellite tracking system.....
Good luck!

Sounds like a joyride theft to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns up in the next two to three days. That's the way these cases often go, though there may be some damage and missing parts.
The people who stole it probably live relatively close to the spot where the car was taken. Driving around the area with a cell phone in hand wouldn't hurt. (Don't forget to have your spare set of keys with you.)
Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

Hey man atleast it isn't a honda civic or something that is a dime a dozen. Your car will definately stick out like a soar thumb to cops and everyone else. Also check www.thepartstrader.com to see if they put any of your **** on there. If so give them an offer they can't refuse and then call us up and we will all go with you to give them their payment! Well good luck man, everything happens for a reason though.

Sorry about your car man. I hope you find it; then you can drop kick the bastards who jacked it.
You could always add some cyanide to a bottle of jack daniels, leave it in the glove box, and hopefully whoever steals the car will have a sip or two.

If it was stolen from Yonkers make sure the NYPD is aware of it as well. I wouldn't be suprised if you find it (albeit stripped....) down in the Bronx somewhere. Good luck.

When my turbo II was stolen they found it 20 hours later with the motor blown (joy riders). The body was still in good shape with minor dings and scratches i got rid of it after that and bought a FD which i only drive on the weekend. Hey man think of it this way even if you dont get it back you can take the insurance $$ and get another one. I know how you feel it f**kin ruined my summer after mine was taken. Keep a positive attitude maybe it will turn up w/ minor damage.

that sh/t makes my blood boil. These thieves don't understand its not a piece of metal but an emotional attachment, I can see you in the future giving some heavy beatings if s/he ever got got.
I know that if a thief really wants your car he will take it, by tow truck, car jack.. whatever, but is there any really good theft device good out there? Autolock? Monthly paying Homing devices?
Good Luck

Man, I've been meaning to post this for the longest time, but keep forgeting.
There are a few GPS anit-theft/tracking systems out there, the most notable (at least, the one I'm most interested in) is the PageTrack2.
It allows you to track your vehicle in real time (well, updated every minute anyways) over the internet (or PageTrack's command center) and issue commands to it (again, via the internet or by phone), the most important being ignition kill.
What I like about it is, is that it uses Skytel's existing 2-way pager network to work, rather then cellular-based systems like others. I don't know about your experiences , but pagers have a better coverage area and are able to penetrate obstacles (like parking garages) better.
http://www.pagetrack2.com/
The best price I've found is $600. http://www.selfdefence.com/pagetrack2.htm
There is also a yearly or monthly fee for the Skytel service, based on type of service desired (anywhere from $30/year to $ALOT/year).
Expensive to be sure, but my car is worth it. I'm also sure most insurance companies would give discounts - defraying the costs.
BTW, sorry about your loss. I hope those suckers get NAILED!

Not one thing left in the car. not one single body panel or even the brake master cylender....everything bolted to the car was gone.mine didnt turn up for 6 months. I had about 12k into it. insurance paid me out the ***! dont cry over it. its not a kid, its just a car. Not being funny, but thats reality. they could have kidnaped a famiy member or loved one. look at the bright side of it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my dad owned a dealership and only one car of 16 was returned unharmed. A few were never found, and some were found stripped to nothing. The guy that I bought my 95 R2 from had a 93 R1 and that got stolen from his office. I haven;t had on e stolen personally but I would imagine that it sucks. Sorry to hear that.
