Speed shifting
Any of u guys know the proper way to speed shift on the 7? If done properly, will the boost stay on? Thanks for the help. I want to know because I love seeing the look on a guys face when I beat their V8s. (you know, the 'a girl just dusted me in a 1.3L' look)

really all you can do is shift quick..like just do the movment but faster..theres no real room for mistakes this is why many people miss third with stock shifter...with a b&m or mazda speed its nearly impossible to miss third...if you "speed shift"(keeping it floored while you shift) all your asking to do is destroy the tranny and it really wont help et.
1--rule always lift when you shift..
what kinda mods you got? if your runnin stock twins they should boost right back up with a normal shift
basic mods (dp cat back intake ecu)should leave pretty much any v8 holdin their cam shaft...but its all abt the driver, if your real serious u might wana look into a performance driving school..or just keep driving fast, your bound to get it down pact

With the stock shifter, I can finish a shift before it releases all the boost through the BOV... I bet it would be easier with a short shifter... But of course, it still releases most of the boost. I don't know of a way to avoid that.
