Car stalls/shorts during driving

never seen this happen before, and i searched around nobody seems to be having the exact same problem as me.
im driving normally and hit boost here and there, but then after a few minutes of driving the car seems like it stalls out or shorts out(dies) and the abs light with the check engine light comes up for 1-2 seconds and goes away while the motor starts running fine again. i thought it was doing that just under boost, but it just happens randomly. im thinking it might be a relay or just simply the abs unit going bad but wanted to know if anyone else here had the same problem.
other than that the car boosts and starts just fine.
any suggestions would be appreciated

If you have a PowerFC & lightweight fly wheel check out Rynberg's post #9 at:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/install-powerfc-wait-425473/

Your mod list would also help out.

Laters,
Edgardo

no flywheel or power fc

as of now i have:
greddy smic
re intake
m2 downpipe
koyo radiator

nothing major, i kept it stock as possible and tried to get all the reliability mods done. so as of now im not going to do anyhting until i find out what this is. and if i didnt mention, it did idle fine while driving, but once in gear and MOSTLY during boost the problem occurs. and if it helps, i noticed there was some backfire from the exhaust also

I had something like that, it just kept getting worse and worse until it seemed like the car kept stalling whenever i hit the gas or accelerated at all. Turns out mine was an electrical problem involving the first two main fuse blocks by the battery. The fuses were browned and some of the casing slightly melted. I also had a loose ground that got progressively looser...it was somewhere on the intake manifold. Check all your grounding points. It made my PFC lose power momentarily and reboot...same thing could be happening to your stock ecu. Ever have any other electrical problems (like dim lights, etc)??
