Smile car smoking intermittiantly

Hey people,
Have a problem with my car smoking,

A run down of my car, well its pretty much standard, its a 99 fd3s with 130,000km of original motor, has a k&N air element in standard air box, 2 turbo smart supersonic bov's the cat has been removed and i hav installed a pfc (which is still on base map) thats bout it,

I changed the fuel filter yesterday and it has started smoking today, it smokes (oil smell) when ideling, was stuck in traffic and there was clouds of smoke comeing out it was chokeing the people in the cars around me lol,

It only seems to smoke at idle and when the fans kick in at 94deg c, when the fans kick in the idle rises slightly and out comes the smoke, am just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to start looking,

thanks mark

It is your turbo point blank. I've gone through the same exact thing 3 TIMES ! Once on stock twins and twice on single turbo setups.

If you are running stock twins, it is most likely your secondary turbo leaking oil past the seals right into the exhaust. I've been there.........trust me I been there.

Time to upgrade to the BNR stage 3

when was the last time you changed your plugs? Start simple and try it. I was smoking and changed my turbos and still had smoke. Changed my plugs and it was cleared. Now I have a back up set of turbos. Just thought it might help to start simple..

Did I miss where you said the smoke was coming from?

If its just an oil leak at the oil feed and/or return then its just a matter of new seals or maybe even just retorqueing. Have you crawled underneath to see if you notice oil from the turbo assembly area?

hey dude , yeah the turbos were boosting ok, although i hav noticed a bit more lag, just like wen u boost to secondary turbo comes on then take it easy, but it stays running with both turbos until u drop below 3000 rpm, but they still boost ok, am driving like a nana so they will last till the insurance claim comes thru, i dont hav a boost gauge, but the reading on the pfc commander is about 0.8 of a bar is 11.5 to 12 psi, also did a compression test last got round figures of 110psi on rear rotor and only 90psi on the front, not looking good, lol
thanks again mark
