I notice it most in the "HOLD" manual mode...
when i'm driving at maybe 20 and have it in
2nd gear.
(AUTOMATIC Car).

when i leave it in drive i don't notice it much
but it does have a bad stalling hesitation at slow speeds (might be due to automatic).

QUESTION:
1. is it normal for the car to feel like its cutting out a bit at slower speeds?
almost feels like its in too high a gear than im going (like going 25 but feels like its in 3rd and about to idle too low)

2. When i start the car, it revvs up REALLY REALLY high to like 2500 for a second then goes lower down to normal at about 1000 - then when i put it in drive it idles fine too.
WHATS THE DEAL??

I hope this all is ok because compression was PERFECT and
the car runs awesomely.

the high revving startup is normal. it is the AWS (accelerated warmup system).

as for the cutting out... can you tell me what exactly is happening?

 

well i know the autos stall a bit off the line and at LOW rPMs...

but yesterday i was going 20 in 2nd (manual mode) and

the car felt like it was cutting out...

like how a car cammed up sounds, and it was kinda jerking forward and back like it was stumbling and it didnt want to go.

i dont know if its because i was doing manual mode or what...

is it normal or does it happen alot?

 

im not sure whats causin it... my car just started doin it the other day. its acting like it isnt getting any gas or something. mine is a manual
