1.obtain a "leak tamer" many shops carry one of these. Ask around
2.hook leak tamer to car. Test.
3.observe. If there are leaks repair leak areas, if there are no leaks the funny idle may be attributed to a bad IAC valve.

Hope this helps!

Does the idle constantly go up and down? I had a problem where I start the car and the idle would bounce between 1k and 2k rpms. Turned out to be the hose to the boost sensor came off. Plugged it back in and everything was back to normal.

Aircon on will cause the engine to change idle from about 600rpm to 800rpm as the fan changes speeds.

I do have a PFC and my car idles fine till its warmed up then it starts the weird idle. i notice on the inside part of the intake manifold there is three vaccum nipples and no of them have any hoses to them.

Those nipples supply vacuum to the sequential turbo system. If you have them disconnected, you better be running single or non-sequential, and even then, you should cap those off.

if the brake booster lines havent been changed might want to do that, there was a TSB out for those at one point i think. they have a small restrictor pill inside the lines... COULD be it, chances are slim though, im sure you would have seen that.
