Car getting too hot
OK!
Well made some changes to my car over the winter that includes AST delete, Powdercoating UIM, LIM, Charge Pipes etc. And my Throttle body (which had to be taken apart and put back together). I've just recently started my car and now the tach when the car is off sits at 2000RPM, instead of dropping to zero? When i start my car it jumps to 4500-5000RPM (in a sense is that only sitting at 2500? 4500-2000=2500). Also my turbo manifold glows red hot in around 5 mins from initial start up.
Mods:
GT40R
850 p + 1680 s injectors
Microtech LT8s
HKS Twin Power
Now I've read up and it could be my tps? I did have to take the Throttle body fully apart and then re-assemble. How would I check.
Thanks,
Geby.

Search for threads on adjusting the throttle body mechanical settings. Its also in the FSM but not very well explained. Then once you have the mechanical settings correctly setup, adjust the TPS. I believe damian had a couple of good threads on the topic. His thread is in the archives.
