car drinks coolant

i need help figuring out where my coolant leak is....

i can park the car, for an hour or so, and no drips underneath, i come back....it wants more coolant

i've done the AWS bypass, so i checked those connections, it's fine, the AST looks good, new koyo radiator, no leaks around that area, turbo coolant lines look good

WTF?!

Yes I was going to say the same thing. You could check this by removing your cat and seeing if any coolant comes out. This worked for me accidently. I was putting on a Hi-flow cat and when I unbolted the stock cat from the downpipe there were drips of coolant. That sucked. I'm not sure if you will be able to see the coolant or not, but it is worth a try.

Is your overflow tank slowly filling up higher and higher?

no, my overflow tank is mounted with tie-wraps onto my intercooler return pipe, i've been told it's either the lower radiator hose, or the ast being mounted diagonally so that all coolant is going into overflow tank

engine was freshly rebuilt abou 14k ago

Check the line going to the overflow. There is a plastic nipple halfway down the hose (double sided) that leaks on some cars. Buy a straight hose and replace it. Your engine isn't the problem as coolant is leaking under the car...

i will check it, i think the problem is that my AST is zip tied to the intercooler hose, so it sit's diagnoally to the ground, the water bubbles over into the overflow because of this

Coolant LEAKING is better than coolant being EATEN, especially if all you have is a leak, and not a seal going out and letting the coolant be overpressured and pushed into and eventually out of the overflow tank.

Go to the autoparts store and borrow/rent a coolant system pressure tester. Pump up the system and watch for leaks. Fix leaks as you find them and re-test.

It could be your radiator cap. I had a coolant leak and found out that it was due to the radiator cap, change it for 3.99.

when two caps are misplaced, it does leak. check this or check if white puff or smokes comes out from tip of your exhaust when starting the car,- this is a deadly disease; not called sars but a bad water seal 100% fatality.
