barely accelerate

I am having the same problems. Bought a 2002 FD with 40,000 kms, was running perfect and without warning could barely manage to keep an idle and went dead unless I kept reving the engine. Also, the car would barely accelerate. The engine sounds more lumpy now. Hope this isn't the beginning of the end of the engine. I noticed the throttle hits the oil filter but i didnt think this would effect anything really?? The engine and exhaust is done by amemiya, and have no reason to doubt it. Thoughts welcome, thanks..

1) Check your map sensor hose. Make sure it's still connected.

2) If the map line is good, get the compression checked. Your might have a blown motor.

Just because an exhaust is made by Re-Amemiya does not mean your car has the mods to support it. Cat-less exhausts are notorious for opening up the restriction so much that the stock boost control loses control. Too much boost = blown engine.
