according to this site the Supra brakes better than a 7 and slaloms faster this cannot be true, me and my friend are having a big argument about handling and he just wont listen to me that the 7 handles way better than that boat otherwise known as a supra, im not exactly sure but the link on the bottom which is the specs of the 7, has some incorrect numbers i believe. And also can you guys give me links to anythin that proves that a 7 handles better than a supra.

Supra does handle just a bit better than the RX7 based on the standard tests. When the RX7 was released and tested, it was touted as being the best car ever built, any time, any where, ever! Then 6 months later, the Supra Twinturbo came out and just edged out the RX7 in several areas.
Overall, the RX7 will still beat the Supra in many areas, and I believe it beat the Supra in a Slalom run during the same testing.
I cannot confirm this information, I just remember it to be true from reading about both when they originally came out. I have been a fanatic about the 1993 RX7 since it's induction.

Another important thing to remember is that the Supra came factory with (I believe) 245 rubber in front and 275 in the rear. Whereas the 7 came with 225 all the way around. How much tire is on the ground has a lot to do with performance in magazine tests. The real difference is in tight turns like on an auto-x course. To quote Mr. Labreck "Watching a Supra autocross is like watching a transit bus slalom."

I can't find the article so i'm going by memmory.
I beleive the Supra was one foot shorter on braking and was quicker on either the 0-60 or QM. I do not remember it being better in the twisties.

I just read those two links. I don't know wehre they got that info from but it wasn't Car & Driver and we all know the RX-7 weighs less than 2900lbs, the base price was more than $29k, mph 14? I beleive it's 16/19 isn't it? 239HP? isn't it 255hp. engine rotary yes but what about the twin turbo they mentioned it on the Supra.
