Yes. It is an on/off switch, and will work fine.

Yes it's ok. The stock fogs are 55w. I strongly recommend you go no higher than 60w or so or you may cook the wires.

so i got my multi-meter out and tested the harnesses to make sure they still worked and of course they don't so now my question is where is the fuse for the fogs is it the one labeled "B2" in the grouping of fuses for the headlights or is it stashed under the plastic radiator shroud?

upon further inspection i found that the fog relay is missing (the LA10 under the radiator shroud) is this the only place something could be missing?
