can you pull the motor without removing any of the AC?
i dont want to have to recharge the AC again so when i pull the motor i was just wondring if it possible or if it has to come out.
Yea, I also just moved them to the side, my A/C comp is laying down on the front cross brace and the P/S pump is tied to the master cylinder. The bracket that holds both of them to the block was kind of a PITA initially but wasnt too big of a set back.
To save you some time, you WILL have to remove the P/S pulley, no way around it from what I could tell. Here is the 1994 Mazda manual with removal instructions, definately a big help.

Yep it's no problem at all (except maybe getting to the bottom bolts on the AC compressor) tight fit between the engine comartment and compressor, and if you put a wrench on there and don't remove it before you undo the bolt it will be a problem.
