Can you plug the holes on the MOP?

Trying to find the source of my smoke and the last thing to look at is the MOP (well, before I tear the motor down again). Can I remove the lines on the pump and replace with bolts? It wouldn't SEEM logical as I'd think pressure would build, but I'm not 100% sure of how it all functions.. I'd just like to know that the MOP either is or isn't the cause of the smoke.

Thanks.

Yes, you can put bolts in it. I don't see that being the problem though. You said it only smokes on startup right? How long? What color? What's it smell like?

Yeah.. Only startup. But sometimes for 10 minutes or more.. At times oil will seep through the manifold and smoke under the hood. After the car gets nice and warm it goes away (for the most part). It's POSITIVELY oil.

What do you mean seep through the manifold? Where at exactly?
