Does this look like I got a good deal?
I'm an FC owner now for about 3 years and just bought an FD from a guy off of ebay. Could some of you 3rd gen guys take a look at this and let me know if you think it was a good deal or if you happen to know this car and what kind of shape it is in?
Thanks!
My new FD

do the manual tranny swap asap. I hate having an auto so I'm in the process of swapping mine now. great deal on the car though. not a fan of the wheels but the engine compartment looks pretty sharp. great to have another fd owner on the forum. congrats!

I apppreciate the input guys. I didn't actually intend on buying it but wasn't going to let someone else grab it for under 7k. I figured if I got it, I got a good deal if it's as clean as described and the pictures show.
I'll just keep it an auto for the wife. My FC is modded to the gills and thats my viper killing, apex throwing machine. I want this one to be stock and reliable.

Not bad.. I snagged mine off ebay in january for 6500. 3k miles on the motor and 88k on the body. Manual trans, turbo timer, 18rims, wings west body kit. All it needs is paint and cleaning up.

No. You have to seriously live on the sand to have rust problems in So Cal.
I think most of the time people have rust problems due to salt on the road in states that get snow. You won't have that problem here in So Cal.

The guy called me and sounded like the real deal. He still owes 11k on it so he's gonna have to come up with the rest to get the title out but he's a military guy getting shipped to Japan in a couple weeks and can't take the car. Says he's gonna grab a skyline to drive while he's there. Lucky guy!
