i know the last cpl digits of the VIN # will tell u wut # your car is from all the FDs produced that YEAR...

But i'm lookin more specifically to finding out wut # your car is from the same models and color made that year

Example: xxxxx's FD is #7 of the 16 silver R2s made in 1995
or xxxxxx's FD is #77 of the 156 black R2s made in 1994...

no one ive talked to seems to know how to do this, and i called mazda, and they said they get this question pretty often, but there's no way of finding out...(yes i know build date may help you estimate if it's an early or late model, but im lookin for the exact #)

so any help in this would be greatly appreciated
