How the F did you do that? I mean make the lettering..it's so precise?

I didn't do it myself. I sent my gauges on a 5,000+ mile trip, and when they came back, this is what they looked like.

Seriously, I sent them to a guy in New Zealand who matched the illumination and font perfectly. I had him "clean up" the speedometer by eliminating the kp/h ring and "unleaded fuel only" warning, and I think it looks a lot better. The stock speedometer was much too busy, in my opinion, and I could care less about kp/h.





See what I mean? Look at the speedometer compared to the other gauges.

At the same time, I had him recalibrate the speedometer to 8,000 ppm @ 60 mph (stock is 8,200) to match the output of my (then) engine management system. I've since gone with another system, so I have to convert the raw output of the T56's speed sender, but it's not a big deal.

The tachometer was also recalibrated for the V8 tach signal, and since my redline is 8,000 rpm, the face didn't need to be reprinted.

The cost of modifications was around $400, but shipping was almost as much. And no, I'm not telling anyone where to get one just like it...
