My car still reads the amount of gas without the car started.

Mine, too. When my needle is at 'E' I still have more than three gallons left.

Take a 20 gallon tank/or your bathtub, pour 4 gallons of milk in it and see how easy it is for it to slosh around.

It'll be fine as long as you don't get on it but you never know when someone will cut you off and you have to step on it. A friend blew his motor from running it low like that.

Just warning you people so don't take it personal.

Just so no one thinks I did it with Photoshop...

He didn't specifically state what he wanted the picture for or what he was looking for, so I just assumed he wanted a "representative" shot.

No, the first picture was taken afterward, after I drained the gas tank since the car is just sitting. My gas gauge ('95 PEP) also reads whatever the level in the tank was the last time the key was turned off, even when the instrument cluster is removed from the dash.

No I was wrong. I does show the gas with the car off.
Just when you think you know your car. GsrSol is right. I bitch when my car hits the 1/4 tank mark.

b/k the Odo only lights up when the Key is on. But the lights can be on w/ the Key Off ( or w/ no key)

Max is right, the key wasn't turned on.

And if I Photoshopped it, then I certainly wasted a hell of a lot of time altering a ton of pictures...
