A handful of folks on this forum have been waiting for someone to make this (or something like it) since 2004(?) when the first set for the FC was made by Pineapple Racing. I've been thru the other posts which all appear to have been dropped. Maybe there just wasn't enough interest but by my math, a buddy and i have been waiting(both project cars are down) for over 3 yrs now for someone to fabricate a suitable alternator relocation bracket. I like the one in the attached picture since it has a separate tensioner pulley and the engineering and craftsmanship of the assy is just beautiful(and plated like the other pulleys and bolts). I just don't have time to go looking for a fabricator with an engine in tow.
i don't know who the setup in the picture belongs to, but I sure would like to contact the fabricator for at least two duplicates. Anyone got any ideas??...
btw, the application we're looking at is for an FD with a 13brew.

 

if you don't mind my asking, what's the alternator moving for? Sorry i can't help with the fabrication of such a piece, but bump for joo.

 

The alternator is being removed so that the water pump housing can be removed. The engine will be fitted with an electric water pump system.

 

i got one in the works with contacts at work (i am in the military), it will come once i get my car back from goodfellsFD#S

 

I was against this before specially running a electric water pump, but I have turned a new leaf and want this set up too...That is by far the nicest looking setup I have seen....

 

I think I read that people could use the FB bracket and put the altenator where the ac compressor is. Not positive just a thought.
