Can I Keep the OMP, but not Plug it in?

I have those OMP engine codes. Replacing it seems to be a big PITA. Can I NOT remove it and just umplug the harness connector? I am already using MMO premix.
I am also installing PFC. Can I have the car running OK w/o the OMP working? Would keeping it installed but not plugged in mess up anything?

replacing it is not that bad of a job. i pulled one on a friends car that i was doing a haltech install on the other day w/ the stock turbos inplace. it took about an hour. the easist way to do it is to unbolt the 3 10mm holding it in, and undo the oil return. comes right out. if you are using the PFC then i believe you can retain the OMP. if you need one, i have 2 extras. both with less than 55K on them.

Yeah, it will still work at 50% if unplugged. But it will trigger the engine light and put the car in limp mode. Will it cause such a thing on the PFC?

I think I found out what's with my OMP. One of wires is not in the connector. So the wire and the pin is just hanging out near the connector. I tried putting it back in, but I can't get it in all the way... Still have the engine light...

Correct me if I'm wrong here, the OMP is a stepper motor and the power to run the stepper moter is from the plug. If it is unplugged, there is no power, the stepper motor doesn't turn, how do you get 50% duty cycle out of that? Besides, duty cycle pertains to analog output devices with a fixed maximum operating duration (such as fuel injectors).
