can I fit in an fd3?

I'm 6'4.. Looking to start a new project. They are kind of hard to find and I don't want to waste someone's time on craigslist if there is no way I'll fit. I barely fit in an s2000 but it's not quite drivable, so there's a benchmark to judge from if any of you have driven both. Thanks!

some days ago I drove with a friend of mine,
he is approx. 6.4 as you are and weights 260lbs (I hope the calculators in the internet are OK :-))

He was on the Co-Driver side. And I have to tell you that it really was`t comfortable for him.
He had the seat all the way back AND my Glovebox is out of the car at the moment. but there wasnīt nearly enough room for his legs anyway.
So I think with a steering wheel + pedals youīll get some serious problems driving a 7!!

I donīt think that my homie would have been able to drive the car without complete epileptic moves on the seat.

As grimple said.
With a manual I think you will not have alot of fun!
+ Donīt buy a quick release hub steering wheel. Its 1inch nearer to the driver. So less room!

Im 6'3 and drove an s2000, I didnt like how the top of the windscreen seemed to block my vision. Ive owned both FD's with sunroofs and non sunroof models and fit in both fine, though my choice is always for the non sunroof model. If you found touble, you could always modify the seat/seat bracket.

I'm all legs so a quick release might improve the situation of crawling in an out of the cabin.

I have heard that very tall people have better luck with non-sunroof FD's

I would just look for one in your area and go test drive it.

If you have long legs, then some sort of spacer with an aftermarket steering wheel will help tremendously. Whether you use a quick released or just a spacer will be up to you.

That's not true, most all of the companies sell slim line hubs these days that if anything would put the wheel further away from the driver than it is from the factory!
