Can I delete emissions but keep air pump for cat?

I'm cleaning up my engine and would like to delete as much as possible and be able to maintain sequential and keeping the cat.

I passed using a electric air pump and a pulse modulator to controll pump speed. . Saturn cars come factory with a electric emissions pump. Very easy to install and doesn't get in the way like the factory pump.

1989 fc3s Holley 450, no trailing ignition, msd programmable on leading. 115HC .5CO high and low idle test. Turbo upgrade in progress.

Yes I have done it as non-seq and then with a single turbo.
But I used a PFC ecu and a lean map for the tests.
Running some ethanol or e-85 mix to lean out the fuel helps redcue hydrocarbons.

Most guys who try to "keep the airpump" basically just install it or an electric one so that they can pass an emissions test, and maybe remove it afterwards. Is that your goal here?

You'll need a standalone ECU but yes, you can delete all emissions with the sequential system. With some hi-flow cats like the Bonez, you don't have to keep the airpump either. They don't seem to have issues w/o it.
If you're deleting emissions, consider removing AWS and double-throttle too.

I went the PFC+air pump and emissions removal way and am going to lean it out electronically before going to emissions test. Simple.

The cat can't do it's job without air to burn the fuel. It's far easier to get an airpump and do it the right way. U need to be between 13.5 and 14.2 A/F

^Many of us have been running a hi-flow cat like BONEZ w/o an airpump for years with no issues.
