Can i chrome the stock wheels?

Is it possible to chrome the stock wheels? I know that some FD's out there come with chromed wheels stock, but they're very rare. I'm getting an FD soon and I won't be spending 3gs on new wheels anytime soon, so I was wondering if i could chrome the stock ones.

You can always powder coat them, too. SOme people have powder coated them gunmetal and black and it looks VERY nice.

Mine are chromed......I like em!

I don't see very many stock chromed rims, but I didn't know how rare they were.

They were on a 1993 VR Base Model that I bought when it came off a lease.

Aren't the normal ones already powdercoated? I'm planning on getting a black or silver FD, and look wise just drop it with clear corners, then spend the rest of my money on other stuff. I've seen several chromed ones and it makes the stock FD look 10x's more attractive than it already does.

The rims on my 99' GST are the stock chromed ones, they look MUCH better than the normal wheels. For some reason stock chromed rims don't look ricey, while any other aftermarket rims look hella RICEY if they're chromed....weirdd

That's very interseting tha someone wants to trade rims. Lol...cause it will prolly cost you just as much to ship them to each other than it is to powdercoat them. Well maybe half the cost ...but hey I tried.

You know what, I'm not really a fan of chrome, but that looks pretty damn good.

Yo Jeff, $80 a rim right down the street from me. That's sandblasted, powder coated and clear coated.
