All belts are off, huh. I'm still convinced it is metal to metal. What about your Turbos ? Suspect any damage in there where vanes are scrapping ? Any clutch damage ? Maybe a broken finger protruding out into the rotating mass. Pilot bearing

Whatever it is I'd say you see a pile of metal shavings left behind from your recording sessions.

Both Turbos were stopped and still makes this noise during idle..

So, what's the scoop on this?

 

My guess is they're busy pulling apart the engine.

 

Easy. One of the 68 vacuum hoses popped off of a broken solenoid valve nipple.

 

There is clearly a kitten stuck in your alternator belt.

 

SO is anyone going to fess up what this is, or what? Posting **** like this just to drive us crazy is...wrong.
