Question Can anyone identify this part?

I had my car at the mechanic for a clutch repair and my mechanic found this laying under the car afterwards...
Anybody have a clue as to where it goes?

I would guess it come off the oil filler neck or off one of the larger nipples on the frontof the UIM.

I couldn't find either. My bet would be at the back of the UIM, secondary throttle control area might be missing a hose? They would have been in this area to loosen the bellhousing for your clutch job. Good luck!

Unless your engine is running rough, I would bet that the hose was dropped into the abyss while being removed during prior service work and was simply replaced rather than being dug out to reinstall. When the clutch work was being done, it simply fell out with all the shaking. It is a vacuum line most likely off of the turbo control solenoid up next to the air control valve. You can see them by removing the vacuum reserve tank at the front of the UIM. The turbo control solenoid sits behind the wastegate control solenoid and turbo pre-control solenoid hanging at the front of the UIM.
